The floor plan of this building was largely determined by the fact that it stands, abutting its neighboring buildings, on a small, north facing corner plot on Carrer Nicaragua with no acces to the inner courtyard. The staircase and bedrooms overlook the rear courtyard to make the most of the south light, while the ingenious arrangement of the exposed brickwork of the main facade mean that the living room is iluminated by east-west light. The building is crowned by an attic appartment -the architect's own home for almost 20 years- on three levels, with a swimming pool on top of floor. The quality and careful arrangement of the brickwork and tiles exceed expectations of an industrialized building, which features a wide range of formal options of remarkable artistic force.
